The
Ten Commandments

The Real Test of Love

WARNING. If you are not in favour of keeping God's Ten Commandments, it is strongly advised not to continue with this test as it may offend and I have no desire to offend anyone. Thank you.

Question 1: Have the Ten Commandments that God wrote in non-editable stone changed?
If you answered No, go to Question 2. Otherwise…Jesus said in Matthew 5:18, “For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle (not one letter or one stroke of a letter) shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Yes No
Do you agree with what Jesus said in this scripture?
If you answered Yes, awesome! Go back to Question 1 and answer No. Otherwise…2 Timothy 3:16 “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, (God-breathed) and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
Yes No
Do you agree with this scripture?
I am sure you answered Yes, so please go and reconsider Question 1. Otherwise, best not to continue with this test. Jesus said to those who choose mans tradition over scripture , Mark 7:6-9 “…Well has Isaiah prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honor me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. But in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men…Full well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your own tradition.” Please give this some more thought and prayer and reconsider Question1.

Question 2: Are the Ten Commandments God personally spoke from the mountaintop eternal?
If you answered Yes, go to Question 3. Otherwise…
Yes No
2- 1 Would it ever be acceptable for you to have other Gods before God?
2- 2 Would it ever be acceptable for you to worship idols?
2- 3 Would it ever be acceptable for you to take the Lord’s name in vain?
2- 4 Would it ever be acceptable for you not to devote the Sabbath to God and fellowship?
2- 5 Would it ever be acceptable for you to dishonour your parents?
2- 6 Would it ever be acceptable for you to murder another person?
2- 7 Would it ever be acceptable for you to commit adultery?
2- 8 Would it ever be acceptable for you to steal?
2- 9 Would it ever be acceptable for you to bear false witness against your neighbour?
2-10 Would it ever be acceptable for you to covet your neighbours goods or wife?

If you answered Yes to any questions from 2-1 to 2-4, go to "God is Love." If you also answered No to all questions from 2-5 to 2-10, then you answered No to all the above questions and therefore agree with Question 2, so please go back to Question 2 and answer Yes. Otherwise…We must love our neighbour as ourselves. God and His Law is love (1 John 4:20; 1 John 4:8; Romans 13:10). Leviticus 19:18 and Matthew 22:39 both say, "…You shall love your neighbor as yourself." Which means according to Matthew 19:18-19, “…Jesus said, You shall do no murder, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness, Honor your father and your mother: and, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” This means the last six Commandments. Please reconsider your love for others and go back to Question 2.
God is Love: We should love God with all our heart. God and His Law is love (1 John 4:8; Romans 13:10). Deuteronomy 6:5 and Matthew 22:37 both say, "And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might." This means obeying the first four Commandments. Please reconsider your love for God and go back to Question 2.
